Grabby — Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

Grabby does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All processing happens entirely on your device. We respect your privacy and do not engage in any form of remote data collection or telemetry.

2. What Data Is Stored Locally

Grabby stores the following data locally on your device using chrome.storage.local:

• User Settings: Your preferences and toggle configurations for the extension.
• Daily Visit Counters: Dates and visit counts only — no URLs, no site names, no identifying information.
• Streak Statistics: Information about your digital wellness streaks and milestones.

All data remains on your device and is synchronized only with your Chrome profile across your personal devices (if you are signed into Chrome). No data is sent to any external service.

3. Network Requests

Grabby makes zero outbound network requests. The extension only reads tab URLs locally to determine if they match your configured patterns. All URL matching and decision-making happens on your device.

4. Permissions

Grabby requests the following permissions to function properly:

• tabs: Check URLs of open tabs to match against your configured patterns.
• history: Delete specific entries from your browser history at your request.
• storage: Save your settings and statistics locally in chrome.storage.local.
• alarms: Run scheduled timers for streak tracking and notifications.
• notifications: Show alerts and reminders for digital wellness breaks.
• scripting: Inject overlay messages on matched pages (e.g., break reminders).
• activeTab: Access the current tab to apply overlay functionality.

5. No Third-Party Services

Grabby does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or tracking systems. We use no analytics, tracking pixels, external APIs, or advertisement networks. Your data is yours alone.
